5th and 6th class took part in the Intel Mini-Scientist competition. The pupils could work individually or in groups of up to 4 people. They had to come up with a science project of their choice and investigate their chosen topic. On the 26th of October, the judge from Intel in Leixlip, viewed and judged the projects.He looked at all of the projects in great detail, in addition to interviewing each group regarding their project. The overall winners were Hannah, Jim and Jake. Their project was called ‘ Does chewing gum increase concentration?”. They will now represent the school at the regional final. The final will be held in TUD, Blanchardstown on the 13th of December 2023.
